Gagemaker Thread Measuring Instruments

Thread Check Inc is proud to be an authorized stocking distributor of Gagemaker measuring instruments. Gagemaker's products are known throughout the world for their quality precision thread inspection products and innovative designs in gaging.

Gagemaker, LP, a Houston based manufacturer of precision inspection equipment and measuring devices for the Quality Control industry is recognized as a leader in the fields of gage calibration, thread diameter measurement, API and premium thread inspection, and large diameter measurement. Gagemaker is also an A2LA accredited laboratory for ISO/IEC:17025.

Gagemaker products are used in many industries worldwide. Principal customers include oilfield equipment, and automotive manufacturers, as well as general machining companies. The company believes very strongly in the quality and reliability of its products, and most importantly in being responsive to its customers’ needs and requests.

The company retains a highly trained staff of engineering, sales, and manufacturing specialists who are committed to maintaining the highest level of quality product design and production. Gagemaker's designers and engineers hold several patents for gage designs and gauging processes. The investment in extensive research and development based on customer needs has accelerated the company’s growth.

Gagemaker started the endeavor of gage design and manufacturing with the basic lead and taper gages but cemented its legacy with the introduction of the patented MRP® crest diameter gage for the oilfield industry. The MRP® gage measures the crest diameter and ovality of tapered threads used on API Oil Country Tubular Goods. The success of the MRP® gage is evident through its adoption by most major oil companies. Many Gagemaker instruments are now approved methods of qualifying critical thread elements per API - American Petroleum Institute standards.

The introduction of the MIC TRAC™, as an electronic adjustable gage setting master, launched Gagemaker into the area of gage calibration. The MIC TRAC‘s primary purpose was to preset the industry’s inspection gages. Over the years the MIC TRAC has grown and developed to become a versatile measurement center for many different applications that companies rely on as the basis of their quality programs. Gagemaker’s CERTIFI™ gage calibration software works in tandem with the MIC TRAC to complete all your gage calibration, certificate reporting, and data record requirements.

The introduction of Thread Element Measurement gages brought a new line of thread gages to the industry. The system used for measuring parallel straight threads incorporates thread roll gages and the TDWin™ software that calculates thread data and gage setting dimensions. Master setting gages are not required. The company’s expertise in measuring threads and their understanding of the threading process has made Gagemaker an industry leader in threading. Many companies have adopted this superior gauging method over ring and plug gauging.

Thread Check Inc. is proud to partner with Gagemaker. Thread Check carries an expansive line of quality Gagemaker thread measuring instruments including instruments to measure Unified threads, ISO metric threads, Acme threads, Buttress threads, Trapezoidal, API Tubing and Casing threads, as well as API rotary-shouldered thread connections.
