Thread Check offers Gagemaker Thread Height Gages for inspecting an important element of the thread
Gagemaker’s TH-3000 Series Thread Height gages inspect variations in thread height for a variety of thread forms. All gage models use a precision contact point that seats in the thread of the part being measured. The gages are supplied with various base configurations to fit a particular thread form.
Gagemaker TH-3000 gages require zeroing on a setting standard before inspecting parts. After the TH-3000 gage is zeroed, the base of the gage is positioned on the crests of the thread, while the contact point is located in the thread root. The thread height gage is properly positioned by sweeping to obtain the shortest depth location reading. The gage will show actual variations from the nominal setting dimension. Gagemaker TH-3000 gages are supplied with a balanced indicator dial which reads 0-25-0 or 0-50-0.
For some thread height gage models a setting standard is not required. In this case the gage is preset on any flat surface. The actual thread height is indicated by the gage. These gages are supplied with a continuous indicator dial reading 0 -100.
