Paddle Flat

Flatted or diamond shaped No Go plug gages are used to detect an ovality condition in hole diameters. It is suggested that the width be 1/3 of the gaging diameter. See diagram below. If geometry is critical it is recommended that the holed be inspected using single element gaging. Flatted or diamond no go members will not detect odd numbered lobed conditions.

This represents a 40% paddle with 30% removed from each side.
