Z Axis Check

The Z Axis LX-1 Check Master is used to calibrate and set the Z axis on optical measuring machines. The master is superior to gage block calibration because they do not require block stacks so it is much faster to inspect the linear range of the tool. The LX-1 features a lapped base with a mirror finish. The LX-1 is made from 440c stainless steel.The tolerance is +/- .00005". The Z Axis LX-1 Check Master is supplied with certification and storage case.
