Bore Gauges: Thread Check sells a complete line of Bore Gauges for measuring internal diameters.Thread Check’s Bore Gauges have a large measuring range and are supplied with fixed anvils.Thread Check’s Bore Gauges offer a unique system incorporating two types of measuring handles or a pistol grip.Thread Check’s Bore Gauges cover a wide range from .236” up to 8.0” Special application heads are also available for the Bore Gauge which allow measurement of grooves, threads, ball screws, and spherical measurement.

Reversible Pin Gage: Thread Check manufactures reversible pin gages in a size range from .0015” up to 1.010” and the equivalent in millimeters. Reversible pin gages also referred to as reversible plug gages are manufactured in tool steel, chrome, carbide, and ceramic material. Reversible Pin Gages are manufactured in gage maker tolerances of class ZZ, Class Z, Class Y, Class X, Class XX, Class XXX and Class XXXX. Reversible Pin Gages are manufactured in 2.0” lengths. Reversible Pin Gages can be manufactured to lengths exceeding 6 inches. All Reversible Plug Gages are ground and lapped to a 5 micro inch surface finish or better. The three wire method has been found to be the most satisfactory procedure for measuring the pitch diameter of straight threads. Pitch diameter is the most important characteristic of a screw thread because it reflects the widest spectrum of possible defects in a threaded part or gage.

Thread Pipe Gages are offered in a complete size range from 1/16 to 6.0 inches in NPT and NPTF Thread Pipe Gages. All Thread Pipe Gages for NPT threads are manufactured per ANSI/ASME B1.2.1. All Thread Pipe Gages for NPTF are manufactured per ANSI/ASME B1.20.5. All Thread Pipe Gages are traceable to NIST – National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Working Thread Plugs: Thread Check manufactures reversible, taper-lock, and tri lock Working Thread Plugs in a complete size range from miniature gages up to 20” and larger. Thread Check Inc. stocks standard Working Thread Plugs in hard chrome at no additional charge which extends the life of the gage by more than 100% and thus provides dramatic savings on replacement cost. Carbide, Tin coat and ceramic gages are priced on request.
