 Flexible Hole Location Gages
Flexible hole location plug gages also referred to as centerline hole location plugs are used to determine the true centerline to centerline distances of threaded holes. The flexible hole location gage is slotted at 90° increments to ensure positive location on the thread flanks regardless of hole size. This feature provides a firm locating grip without pulling the shoulder of the plug up against the hole face thus avoiding any squareness error being transferred to the centerline measurement. The center is concentric to the threaded section within .0002” TIR for probe location of coordinate measuring machines as well as plate inspection setups as “overpin” measurements.  S.T.I. Thread Plug Gages

 British Gages
Thread Check, Inc. provides a complete range of British thread gages, as well as plug & ring gages manufactured to the latest BS and ISO specifications. Thread Check, Inc. supplies full form ISO 228 - 2 ( BS2779 ) Go/No Go thread plug and ring gages for parallel British threads. Ring gages are available in Class A and B. BSPT Taper screw plug and ring gauges are manufactured per ISO 7/2 and BS 21 for testing pipe threads where pressure tight joints are made on the threads. BSF and BSW screw thread gages are used to test parallel threads having full form Whitworth profiles. BSF and BSW screw threads are manufactured per BS 84 and BS 919. BSW is a coarse thread series from 1/8 - 6.0" diameter. BSF is a fine thread series from 3/16 - 3.0" diameter. BA screw thread gages are used to test threads having a full form BA profile. They are manufactured to BS 93 and BS 919. BS 93 specifies basic information for the British Association thread form and tabulates diameters for threads from 0BA to 25BA.

 Tapered Pipe Thread Gages
Thread Check, Inc. offers a complete line of tapered pipe gages including special and custom designs. NPT general purpose pipe thread plug and ring gages are manufactured per ANSI/ASME B1.20.1. Threads are within the permissible limits of the tolerance when the gaging notch of the plug or gaging face of the ring is plus or minus one turn from being flush with the end of the thread. NPTF gages are used to inspect pipe threads that are used in dryseal applications. NPTF gages are manufactured per ANSI/ASME B1.20.5. Standard practice for gaging NPTF threads calls for using 2 or 3 gages in coordination with each other. The standard calls out class 1 and class 2 NPTF threads. Class 1 signifies that specific inspection of root and crest truncation is not required, while class 2 signifies that such is required. Other tapered pipe thread gages include PTF SAE Short and NGT sizes.

 Profile Gages, Thread Profile, TP Series
The TP Series of Thread Profile Gages are manufactured to tolerances of ±.0002" using EDM technology. These precision gages are ideal for quickly identifying each of the different thread forms named in the API Std. 5B and Specification 7. Profile gages can also be used to perform a visual inspection of a thread form for detecting chipped inserts, stretched threads, wide first threads, or rolled over threads.
