 3-Wire Thread Measuring Systems
Thread Check, Inc. offers the three wire thread measuring system for fast and accurate thread measurement on a variety of thread measuring instruments. Thread Check's specially designed holders and wires make thread measurement fast and accurate with our three wire thread measuring system. Thread Check's holders are fitted with certified full length thread measuring wires that meet or exceed the requirements of ANSI/ASMEI B1.2 and ANSI/ASME B1.16M as well as Federal Spec. GGG-W-366B. All wire holder sets include the actual wire size, NIST traceable number and constant required to determine the correct pitch diameter. Thread Check's three wire thread measuring system can be used in a wide range of applications including certifying thread plug gages and set plugs and monitoring and controlling pitch diameter during thread fabrication.

 Certified Thread Measuring Wires
Thread Check, Inc. offers a complete range of certified thread measuring wires for unified, metric, acme, and specials. Complete library sets are available in inch, metric and acme sizes with these thread measuring wires. All wires sets are supplied within .000020” of the best wire size. All wires are calibrated within .000050” of the size provided on the label. Commonality of the 3 wires is with .0000050” and roundness within .000010”. Thread measuring wires are supplied with a minimum hardness of Rc. 62.5. Thread measuring wires meet or exceed ANSI/ASME B1.2 and ANSI/ASME B1.16M.

 Gear Measuring Wires
Thread Check, Inc. offers a complete range of certified gear measuring wires for unified, metric, acme, and specials Gear measuring wires are available for 2 and 3 wire gear applications. Gear measuring master sets are supplied from 2 pitch to 200 pitch. Wires are available for enlarged pinions, external gears, alternate series, and internal gears. All gear measuring wires meet or exceed former Federal specification GGG-W-366b for grade A.M.G.W. wires. Wires are lapped to a 2 micro inch finish or better..
